Behind The Scenes: Empathy As A Design Objective

As a luxury fashion designer, we simply couldn't bear the thought of traditional wine gift bags making a comeback - how boring! After all, gift-giving is an opportunity to show gratitude and appreciation to the recipient, and we simply can't do that with a dull and uninspired design.

So, we put my thinking cap on and started to brainstorm ways to capture the essence of gratitude and empathy in a wine gift bag. And let me tell you, it wasn't easy. But eventually, we landed on the idea of creating a dramatic piece of artwork that would embed the wine bottle in an unusual way.

Of course, that wasn't enough to satisfy my thirst for design innovation - we had to add an extra layer of engagement to really surprise and delight the recipient. So, we added a mystery element to the artwork, making the bag more useful even after the wine was gone.
